**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** Good morning crew and thanks for tuning back into the baliwaves. I suppose the good news is that no rain fell last night and I don’t think there’s gunna be any falling today either. My 6.15am surf check of the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was looking much the same as it did yesterday. Around 1-2ft of wave height breaking in between Kuta Reef and Airport left with the wind blowing on-shore outta the West at 7-9knot. While the tide was all but at the bottom of a solid Low. A couple of the surfers staying here at home base Bali have already taken off to Serangan for a paddle. So we’ll get the run down from them on surfing conditions over there when they make it back home, I might even head over there myself for the sunset session. Still no sign of blue sky upstairs but the cloud we do have is light, an up high. The temperature is currently sitting on 23 C @ 8.00am, hopefully it should make it to around the 26-27C mark by midday. All in all it looks like we’re still playing the waiting game here in Indonesia, waiting for conditions to all come together. It’s called the Dry Season. When everyday it’s off-shore all day long, and so many perfect waves to choose from. Starting off at Canggu and then all the way down to Uluwatu, with choices of reef or sand bottom, tube ride or workable wall space. Oh well, shouldn’t be too much longer, how about you, you ready. Anyway you have a top day out there where eva ya are and check out the baliwaves later this evening, ya never know. To the crew who have never been to Bali and are concerned with all the recent travel warnings, dept: The Indonesian’s have increased security in all areas of western interest, especially here in Bali. Hopefully we’ll see you all here on the surfing holiday island of Bali in 2006.
I have been asked to pass on to the baliwaves.com crew some special prices for anyone who’s been thinking of hitting the Mentawai Islands. He’s going to give another 5% discount to any of you surfers for any bookings for this month, April ’06. Here’s a quick break down of what he’s got for ya’s, and if your interested shoot him an email straight away.

A little while back I mentioned something about baliwaves.com wanting to help out with a charity organisation carring for Balinese Orphans, by finding kind hearted folks to sponsor kids for their basic schooling needs. Well just for now if anyone would like a bit more information please send an email to: [email protected]
Purnie will be able to pass on all the info. I think it costs around AU$70.00 per year to provide a poor little kid with a school uniform, school fee’s and books plus pocket money.
Feel free to send us an email if ya have any questions that might help your next Indo surfing holiday run that bit smoother. Likewise if your looking for a cheap, clean and 100% surfer friendly place to home base at here in Bali.
Best Regards from Your Bali.
