**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** Welcome back to the baliwaves, and day 11, of you know what ! I couldn’t help it, and was sitting in the line-up at Kuta Reef this morning at 6.10am. Wave height was a respectable 3-4ft and there were only a handful of surfers already in the water. Wind direction was again clean off-shore outta the ESE at around 3-5 knot earlier, right now at 8.30am it’s more like 8-12 knot off-shore. There were some nice waves rolling through at Kuta Reef and pretty consistent. Just as well, because by the time we finished up there woulda been a good 30+ surfers out there. The next tide will be a 2.4 mtr High between 9.30-10.00am then a Low of 0.3 mtrs @ 4.00pm, Full Moon today. I’d have to imagine Uluwatu ‘s Main Peak would be cranking as the tide runs in around mid-morning. Pretty much the same weather wise with a mixture of blue sky and cloud coming and going. The temperature should push up into the early thirties Celcius and the water temperature is still fresh @ 22 degree’s Celcius. I’m gunna wait for the High tide to pass then I might try and get back out to Kuta Reef with my 600mm lense and see if I can get ya’s some decent shots of what it’s really like. Ok crew we got a big weekend of surfing going down here on Bali so ya better stay tuned in right here. Or, get on a plane and experience some Bali perfection for yourself. Best Regards from the wave riddled island of Bali.
