**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** Good morning surfers. My 6.30am surf check of the Outer Reefs was showing a significant drop in wave size between Kuta Reef and Airports compared to yesterday. Kuta Reef was still delivering 2-3ft+ peelers to an empty line-up and looking like there could be some fun waves out there over the next few hours as the tide starts to run back in. Middle Reef was breaking nicely @ 2-4ft and Airport Left should also improve on the incoming tide with 1-3 footers on offer. This is what you might call the calm before the storm with a mother of a swell set to start arriving later this evening and into tomorrow. The tide was just commencing it’s run in with the next High Tide set for 12.00 noon @ 2.5mtrs and that will be followed by a 0.1 Low Tide around sun-set this evening. The wind was light off-shore outta the ENE @ 1-2knot but should swing around to the ESE-SE increasing in strength through out the day. We have some cloud moving in over this part of the island but I’d say it’ll still be safe to hang the washing on the line. My day is already planned and unfortunately for me it don’t include surfing, but there’s always gunna be more waves tomorrow, hey. If I had a choice though, I’d be making my way down to Uluwatu for a day of kicking back in the cliff-side cafes over looking the surfing arena ! I’ll be back this evening with the full run down on what’s happening on the ocean, so tune in if ya wanna know. Until then have a good one and we hope to see ya over here on the wave loaded island of Bali real soon. Best Regards.
