**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** Howdy folks, thanks for dropping into the baliwaves this Sunny Sunday. It was my pleasure to be down checking the surf at 6.30am this morning, with a clear head I might add. Still plenty of swell hitting the Outer Reefs here in Tuban and it also appears that it’s direction has shifted more to the WSW. Kuta Reef was still too shallow with the tide @ dead Low but when the tide starts it’s run in is gunna be pretty good with head to double head high sets. Middle Reef was in the same size range but breaking a bit wide of the mark. Much smaller down on Airport left but there’ll be some head high plus waves out there by mid morning. The wind was light cross/on-shore outta the North so I’m guna wait and see where it decides to swing to from there before I load up the ride. Yesterday I had reports of good waves over on the East coast from Sri-Lanka to Keramas so we’ll just wait on the wind. The next High tide is gunnna be happening around 11.30am at a solid 2.3mtrs. We had a good blue sky earlier but now we got a lotta cloud moving over us coming from the East. As ya read this there are another 30 photos being loaded into our September Surfing Gallery and a lazy twenty into the Kuta Cam Gallery, with more to come. Alright then some solid swell, light variable wind, and water temp around 21 degree’s Celcius for the crew lapping it up in Bali. Have a good one for now, and it might be worth dropping by again this evening. Best Regards from the No.1 surfing holiday destination your ever gunna get to.
Good New’s Dept: Due to an extreme bout of “what a bloody co-incidence” I may have found an organisation that takes a special interest in taking care of little Balinese kiddies that haven’t got any parents. Getting them decked out in school gear and organising their school fees, books, etc etc. They are a fully volunteer type outfit and hopefully soon I’ll have the full run down on how we can help out.
My turn dept: My Deepest Thanks to the people who spared baliwaves some kind thought, what surprised me the most was that these people kinda already imagined exactly how I live. It’s ended up with something like 60 surfers and surfing families have lent a helping hand. So ya’s can take a deep breath knowing that baliwaves.com is gunna be keepen on keepen on. For me, just knowen that I got that many solid supporters watching it’s well worth it. Thanks 10,000,000. times crew !
