**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** Howdy crew, thanks for droppin into the baliwaves again. This morning we’ve got an absolute pearler of a day shaping up, well weather wise anyway. I was down doing the 6.30am surf check of the Outer Reefs (Tuban) and the surf situation is all but flat at half to one foot in between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. The reef was all exposed from the 0.1mtr Low Tide happening at the same time, and when she rolls back in for a 2.0mtr High just after lunch I’d say it will be fully flat. But not to fret if you were desperate for a surf you’d still be able to find some shapely little waves peeling through on the beach breaks from “Half Way” to “Padma st” Usually ya find when it’s not quite big enough for the Outer Reefs to break there’s still waist to shoulder high waves hitting the beach. Wind direction this morning was only just coming outta the SW and on-shore, but what waves there were, were clean and glassy. Nothing but blue sky outside so the temperature should at least be heading upto 32 degree’s Celcius. The water temp couldn’t be much better either, boardshorts only @ 23 Celcius. Day’s like today surfers haven’t really got much of an excuse not to get out and take a look at other aspects of Bali, other than the “beach culture” But then again, the surfers staying around here with us have opted for the “night life culture” and “sleeping in culture” instead… Anyway how ya look at it, there’s always too much to get through on a Bali Holiday. Have a good one what eva ya got on and until later it’s Best Regards from Your Bali.
Good New’s Dept: Due to an extreme bout of “what a bloody co-incidence” I may have found an organisation that takes a special interest in taking care of little Balinese kiddies that haven’t got any parents. Getting them decked out in school gear and organising their school fees, books, etc etc. They are a fully volunteer type outfit and hopefully soon I’ll have the full run down on how we can help out.
Why don’t ya send us an email if ya have any questions that might help your next Indo surfing holiday run that bit smoother. Discounts into G-Land. How to get over to Lakey Peak. Likewise if your looking for a cheap, clean and 100% surfer friendly place to home base at here in Bali.
