Superbank Surf Report – July 18 2007

Super Bank / Australia; 18th july 07

I managed to get a few pics for you today.
Its lucky there are so many hot surfers on the Gold coast makes it easy to get a few good shots. Chris Bennetts “the Ibis” was out at Duranbah and caught the biggest wave that came through while I was there it was about 2 ft.
There was a host of others out there ripping including 2 girls who were really showing up some of the boys.
And the guy who boosted the huge air in the pics.
Anyway conditions are a carbon copy of yesterday.
Don’t be fooled by the photos it looks better than it was.
But if you’re keen you can still get a few.
Southerly change on the way tomorrow.
Down south the temperatures have been at record lows. And it’s been all over the news!! Snowing in Ballarat, Below zero in Sydney. Coldest july day in 25 years??
I’ve just been down to Duranbah to get these shots wearing shorts, sunglasses and sunscreen!!
No wonder they say there are approximately 1000 a week moving to Queensland!!.
Down the coast will be bigger and clean
Stay tuned tomorrow it’s supposedly picking up
Dan
