Hello folks and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves.com for your daily dose of surf and weather info live from your No.1 surfing holiday destination of Bali.
Well yesterday turned out to be a non event surfwise with the wind continually increasing out of the WSW upto 20knots, so we held off running across to the East Coast.
This mornings 6.30Am surf check of the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was looking very nice with 2-3ft+ waves breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport left. The nice part of it was that there was absolutely no wind so surfing conditions were clean and glassy. So once again I got all fired up about heading down to Bali’s Premier wave of Uluwatu. But as soon as I threw my camera gear together the wind typically picked came up out of the West @ 6-10knot.
So as it says on photo No.1 we sadly set off to Serangan on the East Coast hoping to find some waves. On arrival wave height was only showing in the 2-3ft range and surfing conditions were clean and smooth. We arrived at Serangan around 9.00Am so crowd wise it was still not too bad with around 50 surfers spread out over three sections. But by the time we pulled the plug the crowd levels would have well surpassed the 100 mark with a steady flow of crew arriving each minute.
Tide wise today we had a 1.9mtr High @ 11.Am and then there wil be a 0.8mtr Low around 5.00Pm
Weather wise it’s been hot and sunny with temperature currently sitting on 29 degree’s Celsius @ 12.00 noon.
Changing dollars to Rupiah on the streets of Tuban you’ll find that 1AU$=Rp7,475 and 1US$=Rp11,450 give or take 100Rupiah depending on vender.
