****MIDDAY SURF UP-DATE****
Hello surfers and welcome back to the baliwaves.com for more surfing and weather information live outta your friendly little holiday island of Bali.
Well I guess that everyone currently here in Bali is well rested and fed from yesterdays “Hari Raya Nyepi“.
This mornings surf recon of the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was showing wave height to be a very inconsistant 1-2ft between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. Surfing conditions on the other hand are perfect with the wind blowing straight off-shore out of the ESE @ 5-9knot. Nothing at all breaking on Kuta Reef and with the midday High tide Middle Reef was also pretty fat and full, but all the same still breaking in the 1-2ft class. Airport Left did have a few surfable waves breaking in the waist to waist high plus region, and there were quite a few takers out there for em.
Looking for a wave today I think the beach breaks from “Half Way” Kuta through to Padma St Legian would be worth a look for a few refreshing little waves from midday through till early afternoon. Uluwatu would be the reef surfers pick and you’d find wave height probably pushing head high down there.
Tidal info for today our first will be a solid 2.5mtr High @ 11.00am and then a reef exposing 0.2mtr Low around 5.00pm.
Weather wise we have nothing but blue sky and sunshine on todays agenda.
Ok then thats about us for today, the good guys at the Kandui Surf Resort up in the Mentawai islands have also sent us through another surf report and some sick photos to check out so take a look before ya check out. And call back in tomorrow as we’ll more than likely be out on a new photo hunt for ya’s.
