****AFTERNOON SURF UP-DATE****
Howdy folks and welcome back to the more for your dollar baliwaves.com for the latest news on surfing and weather conditions here on the No.1 surfing holiday destination called Bali.
As usual my morning surf check was on the Outer reefs here in Tuban, and namely looking at Kuta Reef, Middle Reef & Airport Left. Wave height had dropped off a touch but there was still 2-3 footers breaking on all 3 sections.
Wind direction was coming straight out of the West and lightly on-shore @ 4-7knot
Tidal info; the first of our tides today was a 1.1mtrLow @ 10.00Am and then she’ll be running back in for a 1.9mtr High around 5.00Pm
So, as ya’s can see in our latest photos that I shot today we were down on location at Uluwatu. Even though this mornings surf check was showing on-shore wind I still figured that the wind would lighten up and become more variable in direction. And I wasn’t far of the mark. Surfing conditions down at Uluwatu were clean and smooth and even a little bit of off-shore wind from time to time. I arrived as the tide was running back in (around 10.45Am) so the main surfing focus was on the Main Peak where there was something like 35 surfers spread between the Peak and the Racetrack. Then there were also some fairly long lines breaking up on the Temple section and another 12 or so surfers up there.
Weather wise it hasn’t been to bad a day here on the holiday island, part sunny part cloudy and top temperature of around 30 degree’s Celsius
Ok crew have a good one (even if your not here in Bali) and stay tuned to the Original Baliwaves if you wanna know whats happening here in Bali.
Catch ya’s tomorrow
