****EVENING SURF UP-DATE****
Hi crew sorry but it’s been a busy day so I suppose a late surf report is better than no report at all.
This morning first surf check on the Outer reefs here in cruizy old Tuban was showing wave height in the 1-2ft+ range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left with the wind blowing light on-shore out of the NW @ 2-5knot. But all the same at 7.00am there was still a few surfers out on each section, with Middle Reef picking up the biggest set waves @ waist to shoulder high plus.
Tidal info was calling for a 1.1mtr Low @ 8.30am and then running back in for a 1.8mtr High around 3.30pm.
That was pretty much for me and as I was hoping for a slight improvement in wave height my next surf check was at just before sun down. And it was looking like we have had a small spike in size since earlier. Wave between Kuta Reef and Airports was now showing in the 2-3ft range with the odd bigger set wave hitting Middle’. So there’s hope for a paddle tomorrow and I’ll be making a run down to Uluwatu to try and score some more photos for ya’s.
Our daily sms surf report from the G-land Surf Camp was calling wave height to be still holding in the 4ft range (head to head high plus) on Kongs and Money Tree’s and at 7.00am there were no surfers in the water.
Weather wise today its been mainly hot and sunny with the odd cloud passing over and top temperature of around 29 degree’s Celsius.
Ok crew I should be back with the goods from Uluwatu just after lunch so drop by if you want to see whats happening surf and weather wise here on the happy little holiday island of Bali
Cheers
Slim
