****MORNING SURF UP-DATE****
Good morning friends and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves to find out whats going on surf and weather wise here on the happy little holiday island of Bali.
Well when I was down on the beach staring at the Outer reefs here in Tuban I tell ya there wasn’t a lot happening. Wave height between Kuta Reef and Airport left is back down in that half to 1 foot class again and barely breaking even with the approaching low tide.
Surfing conditions are perfect with the wind coming out of the East @ 5-8knot blowing straight of-shore betwen Kuta and Uluwatu. Speaking of Uluwatu I just had a phone call from a very trustful source who said he just finished surfing the smallest Uluwatu in his entire Indonesian presence. GG, said wave height was in the waist to chest high range with the very very occassional head high set wave (singular).
Tidal info, our first tide today was a 1.5mtr High @ 7.00am and we’ll have bugger all difference with a 1.2mtr Low around 1.00pm
Looking for a wave today yor going to be hard pressed to find anything with kind of power or size, try G-Land maybe ?
Weather wise, more faultless blue sky again for Sunday with an expected top temperature coming on of 34 degree’s Celsius.
Up-Dates, I’ve just finished loading a 14 shot tube sequence for the bodyboarders that some lucky sponger scored down at Uluwatu yesterday. So if your into it check out the Bodyboard report page. There were a couple of longboarders out there as well yesterday but they wern’t showing much style.
Changing dollars to Rupiah on the streets of Kuta; –1AU$=Rp8,100 — 1US$=Rp11,325 —
Ok crew thats us for this Sunday, and tomorrow we could be taking a little trip up the coast to try and find a wave so tune in a bit later for the latest out of Bali.
Catch ya’s
Slim
