Keramas water view / 25th May ’09 (by Scott)

Keramas, 25th May ’09

Since I am now back in the water and its been on my mind to go up to Keremas and shoot some stuff up that way, I made the decision last night I was there. I was up at 5:30am and on the road by 6am. It was good run with little traffic and I was soon making my way into the warung.

It must have been just just before 7am at a guess when I arrived and there was already a strong crew of about 25+ out enjoying some pretty nice conditions. Waves in the 3-4ft+ range and just going square on the inside section. It was a photographers delight this morning and I was as happy as a pig in mud so see some perfect light and some sick waves to shoot.

There was names also making an appearance up there today. I noticed, Kierren Perrow, Simon Law, Marlon Gerber, and Rizal all choosing Keremas as there wave of choice today. It was well worth the drive up there and for the first time it was actually hard to choose what photos were not going to make the cut.

Anyway these are a snap shot of what went on up there today and if your looking for a quality wave then look somewhere else, just kidding. The secrets well out here and if you can manage to get a wave off the crowd that is Keremas these days then it is well worth the effort.

Ok so till next time

Scott.
