****AFTERNOON SURF UP-DATE****
Hi crew for dropping into the baliwaves.com for the latest news on surfing and weather conditions. And thanks for waiting around for me to get back to Home Base after my trip up into the mountains yesterday.
Well since I’ve been away from the the coast it appears that wave height has crept up a couple of inches today. Wave height is currently showing in the 1-2ft range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left.
Surfing conditions are clean and smooth with the wind blowing straight off-shore coming out of the ESE-SE @ 7-12knot+
Tidal info for today was calling for a 0.8mtr Low @ 8.00am and then running back in for a 2.1mtr High around 2.00pm
Weather wise around this part of the island it’s been another hot and sunny day with a top temperature of around 31 degree’s Celsius.
Swell Forecast; The charts are still calling for a very moderate sized swell to start showing on our reefs around late Monday early Tuesday. This one should push wave height into the 6-8ft+ range through Tuesday and Wednesday before backing off. Slightly bigger again off East Java in the G-land region of Indonesia. Then further out there’s another slightly smaller system moving up through the Indian Ocean, so it looks like we are in for a dood week of waves here in Bali.
Ok crew thats about me for now but Hendra should have some new photos for us from Uluwatu a bit later this evening. Have a good one and stay tuned to the one and only baliwaves.com
Cheers
Slim
