Any idea of how crowded Lakeys is these days (over the years I've seen it go from 15 guys to over a hundred after the WQS event and back to 40). I'm worried it's back in vogue again after the recent ASL feature. Also, have the crowds in Bali increased much over the past 2 years? Decided Kuta was not the go and went down to Canggu. Well, the old canggu was churning. Almost maxed out with double overhead--can't get this swell size stuff, it depends on location and tide. Anyway, don't tell anyone, I surfed the left which was curling around the bowl it breaks over. 5 guys on the left. about 15 on the right and a few picking up the bommies on Sandbar.
