****MIDDAY SURF UP-DATE****
Hello friends and welcom aboard the baliwaves for our Sunday Session on todays surfing and weather conditions here on your first choice surfing holiday destination of Bali. Todays photos are courtesy of Hendra Surf Photography down at Uluwatu.
Firstly todays surf report is coming live from my local internet cafe, only because my old lap top has finally after 4 years keeled over and died on me yesterday afternoon.
Anyway thats just another hurdle and we are going to have to get over it. But this mornins surf check of the Outer reefs here in down town Tuban was showing wave height to have maybe backed off just a fraction. Even so wave height is still hooking through in the 4-6ft (over head to double head high plus) range between Kuta Reef and Airport left. This morning while the tide was still reasonably high Kuta Reef had some real screamers peeling off in the 3-5ft class. Middle Reef is still pretty solid in the 4-6ft range and I’m sure as the tide gets lower there will be a few takers.
Surfing conditions as usual at this time of the year are clean and tidy with the wind coming out of the ESE-SE and off-shore between Kuta to Uluwatu @ 6-10knot+
Tidal info for today is calling for the next tide to be a 0.8mtr Low around the 1.00pm mark.
Weather wise today here in Bali, blue sky and sunshine heading for a high of 29-30 degree’s celsius.
Sms surf report from the G-land Surf Camp was saying that wave height is still holding in the 6-8ft range at G-land, No surfers in the water from Kongs to Speedy’s at the time. But there were 10 surfers riding 20-20’s further down the reef.
Ok crew I’ve gotta keep it short and sweet today seeing as I’m doing this report from a no-smoking internet cafe. Hopefully I’ll get my computer issue’s sorted out over the next couple of days so sorry for any delays in getting you your daily fix of Bali surf and weather info, not to mention the photos.
Best Regards from Bali
Slim
