Kandui Surf Resort, August 14th surf report
Before this new group arrived, we were looking at the extended forecasts and we were thinking it wasn’t looking too good. I guess that’s what we get for thinking because it has been so fun! I am going to post some pictures of Kandui’s just because it’s hard to choose any other pictures when you’re looking at a bunch of Kandui’s barrels, but the pictures we have from this trip of Beng Beng (about as good as it gets), Ebay, Nupusi, Hideaway’s, and 4 Bobs were all nice. It’s been a good trip with fun waves everywhere, and we have had pretty good luck with avoiding other surfers. We have had a few busy sessions, but we have also had good waves to ourselves or just a handful of others in the water. Today was our worst day of surf so far, and we still got some fun Nipusi and some fun 4 Bobs. We had 4 Bobs to ourselves up until late afternoon, and I bet it was better than the waves you surfed today! It’s not over either because this group looks like it will go out with a bang as a solid swell is due to fill in overnight. It could be pretty interesting here for the next couple of days!
