****AFTERNOON SURF UP-DATE****
Howdy folks and welcome back to the baliwaves.com for the Sunday run down on surfing and weather conditions here on the holiday island of Bali.
This morning I kinda got off to a lazy start as you do on Sundays, so I never bothered to check the surf out until 10.30am. At that time the tide was well and truelly quickly running up for a 2.4mtr High scheduled for 12.00noon. Wave height betwen Kuta Reef and Airport left seemed to be backing off a touch from yesterdays boost but still showing in the 3-4ft range. Surfing conditions were clean and tidy with the aid of the ESE-SE off-shore Tradewind gusting up to 12 knot. Kuta Reef and Airport Left were looking the best with set waves averaging in the chest to head high class. Middle Reef as usual was attracting bigger sets and will be worth a paddle toward mid afternoon on the run out tide.
The next tide is going to be a 0.1mtr Low just on sun set time.
Weather wise it’s been a good one here in the Tuban area of Bali with plenty of blue sky and nothing but sunshine. Temperature wise the mercury would have peaked at around 29 degree’s celsius. While the water temperature has cooled back down to 19-20 degree’s Celsius.
Looking for a wave today there would have been more options and locations avaialable for a paddle than you could count using both hands and all your toes.
Photo up-date; Ok today I’ve loaded up Hendra’s photos taken at Uluwatu into our Readers Report slot and opted to leave yesterdays Keramas photos on the main page. I’ve also loaded another surf report and photos from the good guys up at the Kandui Surf Resort in the Mentawai Islands. Plus I haven’t forgotten the bodyboarders, you lot can also find another bunch of photos on your page.
Ok I’m going to keep it short and sweet today seeing it’s God’s day of rest. have a good one what ever you’ve got on today and we’ll be back again tomorrow with the latest and greatest surfing news from here on the World’s No.1 surfing holiday island of Bali.
Catch ya’s then.
