****AFTERNOON SURF-UPDATTE****
Hello friends and thanks for waiting around for the latest news on todays surfing and weather info from the No.1 surf sun & fun holiday destination of Bali. And how about these latest photos of Padang Padang from our good friends down at Uluwatu, Hendra Surf Photography.
Yes, late report because I’ve spent most of the day in down town Denpasar checking out new lap tops to see what we can buy that will get the job done. Now this report is still coming to ya’s from my local internet cafe. Hopefully by tomorrow we’ll have a new machine and things will be back to normal.
Anyway, this afternoon wave height on the Outer reefs was drfinitly starting to back off but still coming through in the 2-4ft+ sector between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. Surfing conditions by this time of the day were testy with the SE-SSE off-shore Tradewind gusting into the 15-18knot+ range.
Weather wise today we’ve had a mainly hot and sunny day and maybe even a little hotter than usual with the temperature peaking around 35 degree’s Celsius.
Sms surf report from the G-Land Surf Camp this morning was still calling wave height to be belting through in a very clean 6-8ft range. Every chance of big but perfect waves on Money Trees. They also mentioned that through this current swell there has been some nice little waves breaking further down the reef on 20-20’s and Tiger Tracks.
Ok crew that’s me for now until I get things more under control. I’d also like to tells ya’s that I did my first mobile phone “twitter” report this afternoon. So if you haven’t already signed up to fown baliwaves on Twitter you had better ccause I’ll be bringing it to you live from location from now on.
Best Regards from Bali
Slim
