Kuta Reef to Padang Padang, 13th Sept ’09

13th Sept 09
****AFTERNOON SURF UP-DATE****

Hi surfers and thanks for stopping into the baliwaves.com for the latest news on todays surfing and weather conditions here on the No.1 surfing holiday island destination of Bali.

Right on track, this mornings surf check on the Outer reefs was showing wave height to have jacked up into the 6-8ft+ range between Kuta Reef and Airport left. And with that much water washing across the reef there wasn't too many ridable waves on any of the sections, well for the sane anyway. Infact there were some steam rolling right handers breaking way out in the middle of Legian Bay and still are right now. I'm sure that Padang Padang would have been off it's face today, and showing her true colours. And I'm sure Hendra and his photographic team will have some sik photos for us later tonight. But seeing as though I never got yesterdays photos loaded up until late yesterday afternoon I thought I'd give them just a little more air space for now. Plus I got a New Video clip on line for ya's as well, so make sure you check it out.

Surfing conditions have been good and clean but with the ESE-SE Tradewind blowing hard off-shore between Kuta and Uluwatu up to 15-18knot+

Tidal info for today says we had a 0.8mtr Low @ 10.00AM and then a weak 1.4mtr High around 4.00PM.

Weather wise it's basically been another hot and sunny Sunday with a top temperature of around 31 degree's Celsius along the beach.

Changing dollars to Rupiah on the streets of Kuta you'll find that -- 1AU$=Rp8,450 -- 1US$=Rp9.950 --

If it's clean safe and friendly accommodation here in Tuban only 300mtrs back from the Outer Reefs, including A/C, hot water, refridgerator & TV for US$15.00 per night (single) or US$18.00 for a couple and US$25.00 twin share. Then drop me an email but usually we do need a few weeks notice.

G-Land we are offering you a 5% discount on all standard packages and 10% on air conditioned packages at the G-Land Surf Camp. And from all report's I've heard of late, right now is an ideal time to get over there and score some un-crowded waves

We are also now sending out brief random surf reports and ravings through Twitter mobile phone service so sign up today !

Ok, we'll the shows not over yet and we should feel this current swell through Monday and into Tuesday. S make sure ya stay tuned to the original Bali surf report website.
