Newcastle to Uluwatu, 31st Oct ’09

****HOLIDAY SURF UP-DATE****
Hello folks and yes I’m still alive and finally got my hands on a PC, Just for the record I’m still in Newcastle (Australia). But I wouldn’t be rushing here at the moment for surf either. By the look of these photos sent to us via Ketut and Hendra Surf Photography down at Uluwatu there’s plenty of waves happening in Bali.

According to Ketut wave height has been smallish over the last few days before a new swell  produced a little boost to wave height. Uluwatu looks like she was in the solid 3-4ft+ range. Weather wise it’s beens hot and humid with the temperature maxing around the 34 degree celsius mark.

Ok I’m going to be stuck here for at least another 9 days waiting to get some stitches out of my back. But at least I’ve got some internet access Emails… I’m really sorry to anyone who has sent me an email and I’ll do my best over the next 9 days to get  some answers out. Oh Yeah, I’ve also been sent some photos from both the Kandui and the Macaroni Surf Resorts up in the Mentawai Islands. You’ll find then on their respective report pages very soon !
