Todays Bali surf & weather report, 29th Jan ’10

29th Jan ’10
****AFTERNOON SURF UP-DATE****

Good afternoon surfers and thanks for dropping by the baliwaves for todays news on surf and weather conditions here on the happy little holiday island of Bali.

Well no luck today, the boys and I made a run over to “Secrets” on the Bali’s East Coast in hope of finding something, anything, to surf. But not too be today. Even at this location wave height was only just breaking in the knee high region. It was a pity too as the wind was blowing light off-shore. I asked the crew if they wanted to take their chances with the masses at Serangan, and the answer was a unanimous no. I don’t even think there would have been anything worth while at Serangan anyway. But tomorrow we will find waves even if we have to take on the north west highway again.

Next weeks swell forecast is looking way better and we should see waves all week with our first swell arriving on Sunday. I’ll give ya’s a full run down on this in my next report.

Tidal info for today had us down for a 1.7mtr High @ 10.30am and then running out for a 0.9mtr Low around the 3.30pm mark. We also have a Full Moon rising tonight.

Weather wise we did have a few drops of rain through the night and early hours of the morning. But basically it’s been hot and humid all day. Temperature wise she would have been around 33 degree’s Celsius.
