Kuta Reef to Canggu 28th – 29th January 2011
29th January 2011
****AFTERNOON SURF UP DATE****
Hi folks and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves.com for the latest news on surfing and weather conditions from the No.1 surfing holiday location of Bali. Well last report I had was that Denpasar Airport was closed with no planes in or out. That was at mid morning and I’m still waiting for the latest news to bring us up to date.
Anyway for the lucky buggers that are still in Bali by the look of these latest photos that Ketut snapped for us up at Canggu yesterday there’s still some nice waves in the chest to well over head region. This morning’s surf check on the Outer Reefs was showing wave height to be in the waist to waist high plus range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. Pretty similar to yesterdays conditions with the wind light and variable.
Weather wise according to our man it was mainly cloudy and overcast with a maximum temperature of around 28 – 30 degree’s Celsius.
Ok that’s about all I’ve got from where I’m sitting at the moment but hopefully Ketut will have another batch of new photos from somewhere in Bali for us again tomorrow.
Here in Newcastle again today we’ve got more weak waist high waves with strong on shore wind coming out of the ESE.
Have a good one and stay tuned to Bali’s best.
Slim
