****AFTERNOON SURF UP DATE****
Hi crew and thanks again for calling by the baliwaves.com for today’s latest news on surfing and weather conditions from here on the best bet surfing holiday island of Bali.
No time for the morning surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban this morning as we were up and on the road to Balian well before sun up. With the way wave height was fading out down on this end of the island so we thought there might be just a little more size up there. Pulling into the car park to find 1 surfer in the water with wave height a consistent waist to head high. But it wasn’t long and the number of surfers and surf school students had grown to around 65.
Surfing conditions for the early session were very clean and tidy with off shore wind up to 7-8kms before glassing off around 9.00AM and then slowly turning cross shore when the wind dedicated to the ESE around 10.30AM.
Ok so just a quick up date today I’m pretty well beat up after the drive up and back, even though we did only sea 1 rolled over truck (blocking the road…) the whole trip up and back.
Tidal info for today had a 0.5mtr Low @ 6.00AM and then another big 2.6mtr High @ midday.
Weather wise up the coast it was cloudy and overcast the whole morning with the sun busting out through the early / mid afternoon.
