****AFTERNOON SURF UP DATE****
Hi folks and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves (’99) for the absolute latest and greatest news on today’s surfing and weather conditions (plus plus) from right here on the No.1 tropical surfing holiday island of Bali.
We kicked off our day at 5.00AM by hitting the highway for Balian to pick up a couple of old friends who were keen to get back down to Tuban. Arriving at 7.45AM to see plenty of swell hitting the A frame peak (head to almost double head high). Clean as a whistle surfing conditions up at Balian with the wind light off shore out of the North @ 3-5knot. Hardly any surfers in the water, well only around 15 and that’s not a lot for this popular surfing destination. We didn’t hang out all that long, just until 9.45AM when the wind started to blow light on shore from the west. But even then surfing conditions were still clean and tidy.
So in today’s photo gallery we have a handfull of photos fresh from Balian and then to back that up we have a selection from Uluwatu yesterday (Hendra Surf Photography). Then finishing off today’s session with some perfect Bingin (ESP “Julies Warung”).
Tidal info for today had us down for a 0.4mtr Low tide at 8.00AM and then running back up for a 1.7mtr High around the 2.00PM mark.
Weather wise it’s been a warm and humid, mainly over cast type of day with even a few drops of rain thrown in. Currently right now at 2.00PM the outside temperature is sitting on 26 degree’s Celsiuswith the Humidity at 74%. Wind direction is coming out of the West at 7knts.
