****MORNING SURF UP DATE****
Hello everyone and welcome back to the baliwaves ’99 to see what’s been going down here surf and weather wise on the with out a doubt No.1 tropical surfing holiday island destination of Bali.
Ketut and I have had another couple of long but productive days from trolling for Spanish Mackeral off Uluwatu to a road trip up to Balian in West Bali. Then back down to Uluwatu yesterday for a photo shoot. This current gallery we have for you was what Ketut found down at Ulu yetserday morning (re twitter up dates).
This mornings 7.00AM surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was showing some clean little waves in the waist to chest high region breaking on Middle Reef. The tide was still running out for a 0.3mtr Low scheduled in for 8.00AM so it will be too shallow out there for Kuta Reef or Airport Left until at least mid to late morning.
Surfing conditions at the time were clean and glassy with the wind coming lightly out of the North @ 1-3knot. Yesterday the wind ended up dedicating to the W-SW around mid morning so it’s anyone’s guess which way she’ll swing today.
The next High tide will be 1.9mtrs around the 4.00PM mark.
Weather wise it’s already shaping up for another top beach day for the lucky folks still overe here on vacation, with a clear blue sky. Temperature wise outside right now at 7.15AM we have 25 degree’s Celsius with the Humidity on 85%. Wind direction is still North at 2knot. Sunrise was at 5.48AM and will set at 6.19PM. So just another hot and sunny day coming on in Bali with no rain predicted for today.
I’ve also had an early morning text surf report from the Ando’s up at Canggu calling in nice little fun sized waves on all 3 sections with around 20 surfers (mainly learning to surf).
Changing dollars to Rupiah on the streets of Seminyak yesterday, — 1AU$=Rp9,190 — 1US$=Rp8,945 —
According to stormsurf.com we should start to see a nice little medium sized swell start showing tomorrow morning. This will keep us going through until Saturday before we see a more chunkier swell arriving on Sunday morning, tapering out through Monday and Tuesday.
Ok that’s me for now so have a good one and make sure you stay tuned to the original Bali surf report, baliwaves.com for the complete picture on Bali.

Whats wrong with Spaniards? The leather motorbike helmets and speaking with the hands is annoying but no need to bait them and kill them?
