****AFTERNOON SURF UP DATE****
Hello surfers and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves (since ’99) to see what’s been happening surf and weather wise here on the best choice tropical surfing holiday island of Bali.
First of all I better apologize about loading yesterdays surf report into the wrong section of the baliwaves… Ooops, well anyway if you want to see some of the waves we were into yesterday drop into our Readers Report section.
This mornings surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban wasn’t looking that promising and only showing wave height breaking in the 1-2ft region between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. Surfing conditions were clean enough with the wind coming lightly out of the ENE @ 1-3knot.
We thought we’d keep a bit of variety happening and head down towards the southern end of the island to the ever popular beach of Balangan. As it shows in the first 19 photos wave height was in the waist to shoulder high range as well with the occasionally head high set wave. And by this time the Tradewind was just starting to wake up and turn on it’s charm. Crowd wise at first there were only around 10 surfers spread through the line up. But.. by 9.30AM there would have been close to 70 and the mayhem begun.
I think the next 20 odd photos were shot up in the Legian Beach area around the same time as I was down at Balangan. Then finishing off off today’s photo gallery with a handfull of shots taken out and about from Tuban to Kuta.
Weather wise it’s been another perfect kinda holiday type of day, plenty of blue sky and pretty well nothing but non stop sunshine. Currently right now at 5.00PM the outside temperature is sitting on 30 degree’s Celsius, Humidity is at 69%. Wind direction is SE at 10-12knot.
For any of you that just want nothing more than a hassle free, get up and go surf perfect waves every morning (pending Huey), see and do what the hotel / resort sect don’t. Well we have some new surfing / accommodation packages that will have you at the right location at the right time everyday. All deals include your own photographer at no extra cost. Best Regards from Bali
