****AFTERNOON SURF UP DATE****
Hello everyone and thanks again for stopping by the baliwaves (since ’99) for today’s news on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the best value for dollar, tropical surfing holiday island of Bali.
This mornings 6.15AM surf check on the Outer reefs was showing a sizable drop in wave height. Now ranging in the waist to chest high plus sector between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. Surfing conditions were fairly clean with the wind coming out of the NE @ 3-5knot.
But my crew wanted to surf some right handers for a change so we headed off to Canggu just as the tide was starting to run back in. As it shows in today’s photo gallery we snapped off there were plenty of waves hitting the river mouth, with the sets pushing over head high. Surfing conditions were clean and smooth through until around 11.45AM when the SE Trade wind started to rev up into top gear. Currently now at 4.15PM she’d be hitting the 16-20knot range.
Tidal information for today had a 2.6mtr High @ 11.30AM and dredging out for a 0.1mtr Low around 6.00PM.
Weather wise it’s been warm to really hot along the beach with a couple of scattered clouds breezing over from time to time.
The news in from G-Land this morning thanks to the G-Land Surf Camp was calling wave height in the head to double head high range. And shaping up for another great day of waves at the legendary long left hand reef. According to the in house photographer there’s no one to shoot with only a handful of guests in the entire National Park. So if your interested for a trip into the Jungle drop us a line and we’ll hook you up with a 15% discount. The swell might be backing off for now but it’s a cold day in Indonesia when it’s flat at G-Land.
