G-Land Surf Camp
Sept 23.
G-Land today saw a nice increase in swell in the head hi+ range with some very nice waves along the reef from Kongs,The Ledge and the fabled MoneytreesQuite busy at times with up to 50+surfers enjoying the fruits.By late afternoon the swell was building and all were amping on some sizeable swells to arrive.
Sept 24
Awoke in G-Land this morning to a very solid rumble,a quick walk down the front revealed 8-10ft walls of power grinding their way along the whole bay.At times some sets were quite a lot bigger than that, pretty awesome sight to see.An angry ocean probably being a good description with huge amounts of water sweeping down the line.Later in the afternoon a few ventured out to sample some juice. Some nice waves but most were unridden, some of the regular visitors over the years had the better wave selection and skillfully ridden. But still pretty wild.
Sept 25
Today a much mellower day.The wind started to blow offshore around 10 O’clock and conditions cleaned up quickly on the low tide.Still some solid waves in the 6-8ft category.A crew of about twenty surfers sampling the goods on The ledge and Moneytrees.Again, wave selection being the key.The afternoon high tide session went down at Moneytrees on a slightly dropping swell, but still some well overhead waves on offer and most of good quality.
Hoping the swell conditions continue with the morning high tides approaching and all in hope for some barrel action at the famed Speedies section. So stay tuned to baliwaves.com for updates.Still the #1 site for all your Bali and surrounds surfing and lifestyle info.
