BALI
30th January 2014
Hello everyone and thanks for calling by the baliwaves doing what we do since 1999) for today’s news and views on surfing and weather conditions from here on the friendly little tropical holiday island of Bali.
We were down on the beach at 6.45AM this morning for a quick surf recon on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban. Wave height was showing a slight improvement with 1-2ft+ waves breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. Surfing conditions were not looking the best with the wind already coming out of the West at 8knot.
But as it shows today’s photo gallery I talked Ketut into going for a run over to the East Coast and see how things looked. Not too bad at all with wave height back into a respectible 3-4ft class. Surfing conditions were clean and glassy through until mid morning.
Weather wise another mainly hot and sunny day here on the holiday island. There has been a little more cloud through the afternoon but no sign of rain. We also have a New Moon rising tonight so we will be seeing some nice tidal ranges to go with our new swell.
Ok friends stay tuned right here to the original Bali surf report cause we’ll be back out there again tomorrow chasing the waves.

Doesn’t the semicolon kind of feel weird in “disclaimer;” ? Since the subsequent paragraph is the disclaimer, you probably want to use a colon or something, as in “twelve kinds of poop: brown poop, string poop, kernel poop, etc. Just saying…

I just found your website and it’s incredible all the information you have on site to help me get ready for my first trip to Bali. How is it you can show perfect waves in your photos virtually everyday of the year (I’ve been looking back through your archived surf reports). Can’t wait to get to Bali so thanks baliwaves.com
