Bali
22nd October 2014
Hello friends of Bali and thanks again for stopping by the baliwaves (bring you a little bit of Bali since 1999) for the latest news and best views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the only sane choice for your next tropical surfing holiday, Bali.
First off today our 6.30AM surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was only showing wave height to be in the 1-3ft range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. The tide was on the run in and the wind clean off shore out of the East. Kuta Reef and Airports were only in the 1-2ft class while Middle Reef was picking up some head to slightly over head high set waves.
But as it shows in our current 44 strong photo gallery Ketut had the camera equipment down at Uluwatu. Ad as you can see there were some nice ones breaking on the Main Peak and up at Temple’s while the tide was in. Clean as a whistle surfing conditions at Uluwatu with the wind coming straight off shore outta the East then swinging more to the SE after lunch. Once again the local surfers were dominating the Peak along with young Aussie Louis Gillick riding for SIN eyewear (I also noticed a baliwaves.com sticker on his board as well)
Weather wise it’s been just another hot and sunny day here on the holiday island of Bali with just a few clouds drifting through from time to time. Tomorrow also has a New Moon rising so get ready for some solid tidal ranges over the next few days.
Short range swell forecast is calling for smaller waves tomorrow (Thursday) then a nice little bump in wave height for Friday and into Saturday.
Wanna order a new board from home and pick it up here in Bali ? Well ya had better contact these guys. http://www.betsurfboards.com
