BALI
5th December 2014
Hello everyone and a big thank you for taking the time out to drop by the baliwaves.com (keeping you in the loop with Bali since back in 1999) for the latest news and best views on surfing and weather conditions today from here on the best value for hard earned tropical surfing holiday dollar destination called Bali.
Well this morning unfortunately there was no time for the usual mandatory surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban. No sir we were up and on the road heading North by North West and on our way to Balian by 4.45AM.
Pulling into an empty car park just after sun up to view perfect 3-4ft+ left and rights on the A Frame peak. There were already 8 surfers in the water but there were that many waves coming through that was not a problem, Surfing conditions were just as good with a light off shore wind and the tide on the run in. It wasn’t until 10.00AM that the wind shifted a little harder to the West then continued through to the WSW. But even so it wasn’t too strong and still plenty of waves on offer.
The drive up to Balian was an easy one through the early hours and with all the new bridges being built it’s getting better and better. Driving home was also fine until around the Canggu area where the traffic filled in thick with our average speed cut back to the 20kmh mark all the way home.
Weather wise it was a really nice morning up the coast with more blue sky than cloud cover. But back in Tuban this afternoon and the cloud has rolled in for an afternoon overcast sky.
Ok friends have a good one and stay tuned to your baliwaves (the original Bali surf report) cause we’ll be working through the weekend.
