BALI
31st March – 1st April 2015
Howdy folks and thanks for stoppin by the baliwaves (delivering the goods since back in 1999) for our latest news and hard to beat views on surfing and weather conditions from here on the World’s most popular tropical surfing holiday destination called Bali.
Yesterday the 31st my 6.30AM surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was still only showing 1-2ft+ waves breaking between Kuta Reef and Airports. While surfing conditions were clean enough and the wind coming straight out of the North at 1-3knot. There was 1 surfer in the water on Middle Reef at the time.
We decided on heading back to Canggu to see what was happening and hoping to see a little more size as the tide pushed in. Pulling into the car park at 7.15AM to find some very clean and tidy not too mention consistent 2-3 footers with 4 foot freak sets on all 3 of the main surf breaks in the Canggu area. Surfing conditions were perfect with the Northerly wind blowing straight off shore. Crowd wise there was the usual turn up but there was plenty of waves coming through. It was around 10.00AM that the wind started to shift to the SW – WSW and that’s where she stayed for the rest of the day.
Weather wise it was a mostly hot and sunny day but we did get one or two drops of rain at Canggu.
This morning the 1st of April and it’s just gone 6.00AM here in Bali and time for me to duck down for a quick surf recon on the Outer Reefs and decide where we are going to be surfing at today. So have a good one what ever you’ve got on today and stay tuned right here to the original Bali surf report website.
