BALI / INDONESIA
26th – 27th October 2015
Hello surfers and thanks a million for stopping by the baliwaves (Bali’s original surfing website since back in 1999) for the latest news and the best possible views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on your first choice tropical surfing holiday destination of Bali.
Alrighty then, well yesterday the 26th we were down at Uluwatu surfing mainly because there wasn’t too much swell about and we knew that that’s where the best size and power was going to be found. We did stop in for a look at Balangan on the way down but there were only 2 footers breaking. So as it shows in today’s 80 strong photo gallery wave height down at Uluwatu was in the 2-4ft range on the Main Peak and Temple sections. Crowd wise it hasn’t been too bad through the morning sessions but getting a littl bit busy with learners by late morning.
Today the 27th and it was pretty much “ground hog” day swell and weather wise so we headed back down to Bali’s premier surfing location for another session on Temple’s and The Peak. Same wave size, same variable wind and some nice and glassy waves, plenty of blue sky so no complaints could be heard.
Tomorrow the 28th and I think it’s going to be day 3 of small waves here on the “Island of the God’s but we’ll still see get out there and see what we can find ok.
Today see’s a Full Moon rising here in Bali and my family and I have just got back home after visiting the Temple to give our thanks. Have a good night and we’ll be back here again tomorrow. And we will be experiencing some solid tidal ranges over the coming few days.
Changing dollars to Rupiah on the streets of Bali, — 1US$=Rp13,550 — 1AUD=Rp9,820 — rates will vary
