BALI / INDONESIA
20th – 21st March 2017
Hi folks and thanks for tuning into the baliwaves (keeping you in the loop with Bali since back in 1999) for today’s news and our best views on surfing and weather conditions from here on your first choice tropical surfing holiday destination.
Right so as we all know our new swell started to smack into Bali yesterday and I had plenty of reports from lots of locations going ballistic over on the East coast of Bali. While everywhere from Ulu up to Medewi have been blown out with this strong NW-SW wind that’s come with the swell.
Today and there wasn’t much change in wave height with some solid waves in the 6-8ft+ range peeling off. We pulled up just as the tide was starting to come off the bottom and the wind blowing clean off shore. Not a lot of takers early this morning and my mate Chris was out there surfing it by himself for almost a 2hr session. But it wasn’t long after as the tide filled in a little more that there may have ended up being around 12 surfers in the water. It was pretty well non stop waves and so many were going through un ridden.
Weather wise it ended up being a mostly hot and sunny day over on the East coast with the midday temperature hitting 30 degree’s Celsius. This afternoon the wind was coming more out of the W-SW but is predicted to be NW first up tomorrow morning again.
Ok friends stay well and stay tuned right here to the one and only original Bali surf report. While your here make sure you check out all our sponsors / advertisers and help us by supporting them as well, thanks again for dropping into the baliwaves
