Indo’s Premier surfing location Uluwatu 18th / 19th April 2017

18th – 19th April 2017
Hello surfers and welcome back to your baliwaves (keeping you excited about your next Indo surf mission since back in 1999) for our latest news and the best possible views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the only sane choice for your next tropical surfing holiday, Bali.

Ok so here’s a few photos that we shot yesterday down at Bali’s premier surfing location, Uluwatu. As it shows in the photos wave height did pulse through with the incoming tide, from the early morning 3-4ft to 4-5ft+ by mid morning. Not many surfers in the water at the time Ketut was shooting and out those few there was only a handful that knew what they were doing. Surfing conditions were clean and glassy before the wind shifted to the SW.

Today the 19th and our 6.45AM surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was showing wave height breaking in the 2-4ft range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. The tide was still a touch low for KR and AL but Middle Reef was producing some nice waves with clean and glassy surfing conditions the time.

I had Ketut take the camera equipment out for a run again this morning and has reported back in saying there was some nice waves in the chest to over head range with a clean off shore wind. I’ll check through the photos after lunch and see if there’s a few good one’s to load up for ya’s.

Weather wise out side right now at 11.35AM the mercury is sitting on 32 degree’s Celsius and the wind is now coming out of the WSW, regardless of what buoyweather has predicted. But hopefully it could be anytime / any day soon and the SE Trade wind will be turning up.

The next tide today in Bali will be a 1.8mtr High @ 2.16PM

Tomorrows forecast is looking like we might see another small bump in wave height and they.. have once again predicted the wind to be ESE, fingers crossed.

I’ve also loaded up the latest surf report and photos from our friends up at Nias. Here’s a little inside trader information right now is looking like a good time to be up there at KabuNohi Sorake Surf Resort as the place is empty. So check out there promo banner on baliwaves and get up there.
