BALI / INDONESIA
16th – 17th October 2017
Hello everyone and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves (your eye’s on Indonesia since back in 1999) for our latest news and best possible views ion surfing and weather conditions from right here on the World’s No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination, Bali.
Mt Agung Up-date, well nothing has really happened since over a month of travel warnings except that a loit of people have cancelled their Bali vacations I guess. But I do think they are still saying that it might erupt at any moment. Denpasar airport has been operating as per normal and no visible signs of ash or lava to be seen anywhere here on Bali. Lets hope it stays that way right.
Surf wise here’s a bunch on photos that we have shot over the last few days from both sides of the island. At present here on the holiday island I’d have to say the last 3 days has been the worst weather we have seen all year so far. Not really a much rain just mainly a few drops through the night. But the wind has been coming out of the S-SW making it tough to score some clean surf on either side of Bali for that matter. But as it shows in today’s photo gallery there are still a few waves around the island. This Southerly wind pattern shouldn’t hang around for much longer and soon enough we will be back basking in off shore wind some where on Bali.
Right now at 4.35PM the temperature is on 30 degree’s Celsius, Humidity is at 71% with the wind coming out of the SW at 5-9knot
