Hello Bali lovers and thanks for dropping into the baliwaves (the original Bali surf report since back in 1999) for our latest installment on surfing and weather conditions from here on your first choice tropical surfing holiday destination that has something for the whole family, Bali.
Ok so as you may have already noticed in our latest photo gallery we have loaded up there are photos from 2 different locations from both sides of the island.
On the 27th wave height was still pretty small and only just in the 2-3ft class (waist to head high) over on Bali’s East side. But with a good crew of local surfers and a few friends in the water how could anyone go wrong. Surfing conditions were still clean enough even with the wind mainly out of the W-WSW.
Yesterday the 28th and we put in a few miles on the road to end up at this location but as it shows in the first half on the photo gallery it was well worth that little bit of extra effort. But I guess that comes easy for someone who has been heading out on surfing missions for the last 44yrs of their life right. What it was yesterday was 3-5ft (head to double head high) with a light early morning off shore wind and around 25 surfers spread through the various sections. The wind did turn on shore out of the W-WSW around 9.45AM but still not too bad, we were in the water before 7.00AM.
Today the 29th and we did make the effort to chase some waves this morning but it was pretty damn small over on the East Coast of Bali. But perfect conditions for all the surf schools to get out there and crash into each other.
Weather wise it’s been partly cloudy the last few days but still nice and warm for the best part of it. A few over night showers thrown in but no rain falling through the daylight hours where we have been. The forecasters are calling in ESE – SE winds for us early next week, fingers crossed hey guys.
While your here make sure you check out all our sponsors / advertisers and help us by supporting them as well, thanks again for dropping into the baliwaves
