Hello surfers and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves (the original Bali surf report website since back in 1999) for our latest news and best possible views on surfing and weather conditions from here on the World’s No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination and the gateway into Indonesia’s surfing paradise.
Ok so as it shows in our latest photo gallery we shot this morning there was still plenty of waves on offer all over Bali. We opted for one of our favorite locations and didn’t do too bad. Arriving at 7.00AM to find wave height in the 2-3ft+ range or chest to slightly over head with clean and glassy surfing conditions. There was only a handful of surfers in the water at the time due to the early morning low tide and exposed reef. This certainly helps to keep the learners out of this location these days.
Weather wise we got off to a nice start with loads of blue sky and light variable wind keeping surfing conditions glassy till late morning. Then by 2.00PM it clouded over and rained for a half an hour. Currently now at 5.05PM there is nay a breath of wind happening and I’m sure there’s some fun afternoon dropping tide sessions going down right now.
Tomorrow is looking much the same on the forecasts so make sure you stay tuned ight here to the baliwaves cause we’ll be back out there again hunting for good waves and fun times here in Bali.
While your here make sure you check out all our sponsors / advertisers and help us by supporting them as well, thanks again for dropping into the baliwaves

Hi Slim, what a shame the warungs are going from Serangan, It’s been such a lay back friendly place where I loved hanging out at in the wet season. I wondered why in a previous surf report a photo showed the gate closed & security turned everyone away. Are they building more hotels? Do you know if surfers will still have access while they do whatever they are going to do? Thanks for providing such a great surf reports. Pete Speirs

HI Pete, yeah it’s a shame that we are loosing more Bali beach culture when they tear down these Balinese surfer warungs and build a “beach club” I’m sure they will still provide beach access for surfers the only people to lose out will be the locals…
Peter Speirs says
Hi Slim, thanks mate for the fast reply : ) Yes,very tough for the locals, they provided such a fun atmosphere & it provided them an income, hope they can adapt & still find a way to get by. Cheers Pete
