32 Invitees Draw Their Heats at Rip Curl Cup Opening Ceremony

Thirty two of surfing’s elite gathered at Padang Padang beach on the island of Bali Sunday for the opening ceremony of the 2010 Rip Curl Cup. They came from as far away as England, Japan, Hawaii and New Zealand to draw their heats and find out who they will surf against in the opening round of competition.

Rip Curl has announced the 32 surfers invited to compete in the 2010 Rip Curl Cup Invitational at Padang Padang. The elite group of daredevil tuberiders is now set to gather at Bali’s most revered wave this weekend for the event’s opening ceremony.
