What we started to do almost 12yrs back with a one paragraph surf report and 4 digital photos from my first digital camera (0.8 mega pix loaded directly onto a floppy disk). To what it is today, we’ve come a long way. At that time there was only 1 other website for Bali which was a travel forum site. Now I think there are around 50,000+ websites on Bali, but the baliwaves still rule’s the roost. (It’s definitly not the best paid job I’ve ever had but it is the best job I’ve had !

This mornings 7.00am surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was showing a slight increase in wave height with 1-2 footers (knee to waist high) breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. There were even a few surfers in the line up on Kuta Reef and Airport left with the tide starting to push in. Surfing conditions were clean and tidy with no wind present at the time.

This mornings 7.00am surf check on the Outer Reefs was as expected showing that wave height has dropped back down into the 1-1ft+ range between Kuta Reef and Airport left. I didn’t see any surfers in the water while I was on the beach. And with the tide on the run out there wasn’t even a wave on Middle Reef worth the effort, unless you are a grommet here on holiday of course.
