Hey crew hows your weekend going, here’s the photos that we snapped up the coast on the 6th and as it shows it was just pure fun and plenty of it.

Yesterday the 7th we ended up down at Indonesia’s premier surfing location of Uluwatu. It had been a few days since we’d visited so we thought we better get back down there. We arrived around 7.30AM to find an already fairly solid crowd of all sorts of level surfer and novice in the water. Wave height was 2-3ft+ on the lower end of the tide but as it pushed in there were some well over head high set waves hitting The Peak and Temple sections. Temples was peeling a few beauties off but with a crew of almost 100 surfers up there. Never in my years in Bali had I seen such a thing. We shot a tonne of photos and some video footage so stay tuned for that when we get a chance.

Weather wise it was mostly overcast with a few sunny breaks.

Today the 8th and our 7.15am surf check on the Outer Reefs (@baliwaves Twitter, Bali Morning Surf n Weather Report) was only showing wave height in the 1-2ft class with the E-ESE Tradewind already starting to gear up. So with that in mind I thought we’d call a lay day on the photos and try and get some office editing work done.

Weather wise right now at 12.30pm the cloud is getting blow away leaving us a mostly sunny sky for our Saturday afternoon. The temperature is now on 29 degree’s Celsius, Humidity is at 75% and UV index on 6. Wind id ESE with gusts up to 30km/h++

The next tide today will be a High around 12.30pm

Tomorrows Surf Forecast is showing small wave through the early morning then a nice little bump coming in through the afternoon. By Monday we should be knee deep in swell with big and solid waves hitting Bali by Monday afternoon and into Tuesday morning. Backing off a little on Wednesday before another moderate / big swell its on the 14th again that should take us into the 17th. So stand by, cause Bali is going to light up like a Christmas tree.
