Alright yesterday the 25th with small swell conditions and not a lot of options to choose from we took the best decision and split for a trip up Bali’s West Coast. As it shows in our latest photo gallery even up at Indonesia’s biggest wave magnet of Bali it was still only in the head high range. Surfing conditions were clean and glassy though and it stayed that way right through until we packed up for after surf breakfast around 9.30am. Crowd wise I was also pretty surprised to only find maybe 30 surfers spread spread through the entire line up.
Weather wise it was another perfect holiday type of day here in Bali, lots of blue sky with the water temperature just as perfect.
Today the 26th and it’s only just gone 5.20am but it won’t be too long and we will be out on the prowl looking for some waves. I don’t think we are going to see too much size out there again today but hopefully we might have a small bump. So stay tuned to the original Bali surf report for more news and up dates through out the morning via our Twitter feed on site.

Bali Travel Tip
Mosquitoes are a real worry and do not discriminate between 5 star Hotels or your humble Guest House, so be smart!
This one is very important especially if you want to have a good nights sleep and not be worried about mosquito born diseases. After checking into your accommodation take a walk to the nearest warung (if you can find one) or mini mart and purchase a can of insect spray and some personal insect repellent. Before you go out for lunch or dinner make sure you put on some personal repellent, especially on your exposed legs. Then spray your room and go out for awhile. Also make sure you keep your room door shut, only open it to enter or exit so no mosquitoes can let themselves in. The total cost for the mosquito protection will be under Rp30,000 so do yourself a favor and be mosquito smart in Bali.
