As you know by now yesterday we were up at the black sand beach of Canggu. We did get to shoot a stack of photos as it’s a very photogenic location that always has good surfers and lots of colorful characters. Here are some of the results to hold you over until tomorrow.
This morning the 3st and when I stuck my head out the door at 4.30am this morning there was hardly any wind. So we loaded up and headed over to see what was happening at keramas. By the time we arrived there were already 7 surfers in the water with a light and clean off shore breeze. The tide was running in so we made haste. Wave height at first was only in the 1-3ft class but as the tide started filling in we did get a few over head 4ft sets. The wind didn’t hold off for that long and by 8.30am the waind was starting to shift to the East and light on shore. The crowd did get close to 30 at one stage but by the time we packed up at 9.20am there were only 15-20 left out.
Weather wise there was some early morning cloud about but nothing but blue sky from midday on. Outside right now at 3.20pm its a warm 28C with the wind SE at 26km/h
The next tide today in Bali today will be a 0.13mtr Low at 4.54pm
Tomorrow’s Surf Forecast is calling a bump in wave height with more ESE – SE wind.
That’s me folks, I gotta run and catch the afternoon low tide and de foul the bottom of our double outrigger that is moored right in front of Kuta reef.
