Hello awesome people and thanks for checking into the original Bali surf report website and infact the first surfing website 2nd website on line in all of Indonesia. Just for the record.
Here’s a hand full of photos from our last session down at the black sanded beach. Just a quick one this morning as it’s another day of prayers and offerings here in Bali for Kuningan the final ceremony of Galungan. We did get some quality time this last session with an hour by ourselves before the crowd maxed out at 10-12 surfers. Yesterday there was still plenty of options for a surf but not all locations around this island were delivering. The photos I saw from up at Balian were looking real nice in the 3-4ft zone and I imaging Canggu would have been ok also. Here in South Kuta the Outer Reefs were breaking in the 2-3ft+ class between Kuta reef and Airport left. I haven’t been down for a look this morning yet but will post an afternoon surf n weather video report on baliwaves facebook page later.
Weather wise this morning there is a little bit of blue sky but also quite a bit of cloud fluffing about. The wind is still light and mostly out of the Northern quadrant. It is predicted to be light and variable right through until early afternoon before dedicating to the SE. Temperature wise right now at 8.40am it’s a mellow 25C, humidity is at 81%. Wind direction is in fact coming out of the North at 3km/h.
The next tide today in Bali (Benoa) will be a 0.71mtr Low at 1.11pm
Tomorrows Surf Forecast (we will be heading out into the field) has the wave models showing a continuation of smallish waves with the period just dipping 1 second down to 13. Wind direction is predicted, and the key word is predicted, to be light and variable early before dedicating to the E-ESE mid morning.
We also have another batch of G-Land photos fresh out of the jungle to throw up on line, thanks to our good friends at Joyos G-Land Surf camp. Give me another 110 mins for those.
