Hello again peeps an as you may have guessed it I had another shocker last week. Our Team has been sending me through photos but I haven’t been up to sitting up and getting this done. Trips to the Dr and hopefully I’m going to be getting back on track. While Bali has been doing it’s usual stuff for travelling surfers I’ve only been getting waves of pain. But I’m finding out just how devious this cancer stuff is.
First up we have two photo sessions in this current gallery. The first batch was up at the unmistakable river mouth location of Balian. A few solid peaks out on the A Frame peak and it looked like there were plenty of visiting surfers out there having some fun.
The second group was shot a couple of days later the always in season Canggu. Canggu at 3ft / head high is a surf filled playground for all surfers, from semi pro to learner.
This morning in Bali Ketut was saying there was only a 2-3ft wave out on the Outer reefs of Tuban while the tide was low on Middle’s. I’m thinking as the tide starts to fill in or even later this afternoon we will start to see a new swell hitting Bali. Well you might see it, I won’t where I am.
For that matter pretty much all of Indonesia is going to get a solid dose of swell over the next coming few days. From Northern Mentawai’s right down through Bali and islands East.
The good guys at Joy’s G-Land Surf Camp have their in camp photographers back in camp and surfers getting stocked out. Stand by and I’ll post a few photos that have been sent to us.
Ok folks hopefully I’ll stay on track from here on. I do have a eye surgery on Tuesday so I may be off air for the day or so. Thanks everyone for all your support and support.
BTW, Ketut is still taking surfers to find their best Bali waves while I’m caught up in Australia. So EMAIL us and you can be cruising with Ketut and all his local surf friends when ever you are ready. God knows my family are going to be down deep in Dr / hospital bills when the smoke clears.
