East Coast Bali Surf Report – Wednesday 4th March 2026
Ketut was back over on the East Coast again early yesterday from around 6:30am through until 11:30am and was greeted with solid 5-6ft waves pushing through the reefs. It was a bit cloudy early on but conditions cleaned up nicely once the sun started to show around 9am. With offshore winds holding steady the wave faces stayed nice and tidy, and as the tide began filling in the sets started lining up well across the reef. With around 20 surfers in the water it was busy enough to keep things interesting but still plenty of waves getting through.
Once the sun broke through the clouds the session really settled in. The offshore breeze held through the morning which helped keep the waves organised with some solid rides for those in position.
Weather & Tides
Weather wise right now in Bali it’s sitting around 26C under overcast skies with humidity up around 88 percent.
Tide wise today Thursday 5th March we have an early low at 5:36am at 0.2m before filling up to a 2.5m high tide at 11:50am. The afternoon then drops back to a 0.3m low at 5:46pm before pushing back up again overnight.
Looking ahead to Friday 6th March we have a 0.2m low at 6:00am before filling strongly to a 2.6m high tide at 12:17pm which should again favour the mid morning window on the reefs.
Surf Forecast
Surf forecast wise there is still some decent energy in the water with swell around the 1.6 to 2.2 metre range from the SSW holding moderate period. Winds are expected to stay generally light early before freshening through the afternoon. East Coast spots should continue to offer the best options over the next couple of days while winds remain more westerly across the island.
