# Baliwaves > Baliwaves (baliwaves.com) has published surf reports from Bali since 19 December 1999: on-the-ground observations of wave size, wind, tide and crowd, with photos, plus surf spot guides, swell forecasts, tide charts and travel information for surfers visiting Bali and Indonesia. Wave sizes on Baliwaves are in feet, Hawaiian scale (measured from the back of the wave, roughly half the face height). Current reports come from Ketut, who checks the breaks and photographs them, mostly at Keramas, Canggu, the East Coast, Balangan, Balian and Kuta Reef. The archive holds more than 6,000 reports back to 2006, originally written by Baliwaves co-founder Slim (Jim Bristow, died 2024). Some spots are reported under a regional name only (for example "East Coast"); use the name as published. ## Surf reports - [Latest Bali surf reports](https://www.baliwaves.com/category/surf-report/bali/): Daily and recent Bali surf reports, newest first, with photos and conditions. - [All surf reports](https://www.baliwaves.com/category/surf-report/): Every Baliwaves surf report, including Bali, Mentawai and G-Land. - [Mentawai surf reports](https://www.baliwaves.com/category/surf-report/kandui-mentawai/): Reports from the Mentawai Islands, including Kandui Resort updates. - [G-Land surf reports](https://www.baliwaves.com/category/surf-report/g-land/): Reports from G-Land (Grajagan), East Java, including Joyo's Surf Camp. ## Forecast and tides - [Bali swell forecast](https://www.baliwaves.com/surfing-in-bali/swell-forecast/): How to read Bali swell forecasts, with seasonal swell and wind patterns. - [Bali tide charts](https://www.baliwaves.com/surfing-in-bali/tide-charts/): Tide information for Bali's reef breaks. ## Bali surf spots - [Bali surf spots](https://www.baliwaves.com/surfing-in-bali/surf-spots/): Overview of Bali's main surf breaks. - [Uluwatu](https://www.baliwaves.com/surfing-in-bali/surf-spots/uluwatu/): Multi-section left reef on the Bukit Peninsula;
