****AFTERNOON SURF UP DATE****
Hello surfers and welcome back to the baliwaves (’99) for another dose of perfect waves and surfing conditions from here on the No.1 surfing holiday island of Bali.
As expected this morning’s 6.30AM surf recon on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was showing wave height to have backed off, down into the waist to head high range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. Surfing conditions were clean and glassy with the wind coming lightly our of the NE @ 1-3kms.
So with the wind and tide just right we set off for Canggu. And as I’m sure by now you have already checked out today’s photos gallery, you’ll agree there were some nice little punchy chest to head high waves on both the sand bar and the river mouth. Crowd wise it was pretty mellow with around 18 surfers on the right hander and 6-10 surfers riding the sand bar. Surfing conditions at Canggu stayed clean through until the wind shifted to the SSE at 10.30AM.
Tidal info for today had a 1.9mtr High @ 7.00AM and then running out for a 0.9mtr Low around the 1.00PM mark.
Weather wise another hot and sunny day here on the holiday island. Right now at 3.45Pm we have an outside temperature of 30 degree’s Celsius and the wind coming out of the SE @ 15kms.
The latest news from G-Land thanks to the G-Land Surf Camp was also calling wave height to have backed down into the chest to head high plus sector. The best waves were on the bottom of Kong’s and Money Tree’s with 2 surfers in the water @ 8.00AM East Java.
