****MIDDAY SURF UP DATE****
Hello surfers and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves (’99) for our Sunday Session on surfing and weather conditions from here on the with out a doubt best value for surfing holiday dollar destination of Bali.
Just for the record and for any Bali knockers, who say’s you can’t find perfect uncrowded waves here in Bali ? Even as we are right dead smack in the middle of the “peak season” the last two days my crew have managed to fare pretty damn good. It’s all a matter of knowing when and where to go.
Ok, so this mornings surf check on the Outer Reefs wasn’t looking to impressive with only 2-2ft+ waves breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Left @ 6.45AM. With the tide just starting to come off the bottom of a 0.6mtr Low and the wind light out of the N-NW @ 1-3knot.
But as the “proof is in the pudding” or as it shows in today’s photo gallery, we made a quick trip (20 min drive) over to Serangan on Bali’s East Coast. The boys were once again happy to see some perfect waves peeling off both left and right in the head to just about double head high on the bigger set waves. Even more happier to see only 3 other surfers in the water. Surfing conditions at the time (7.30AM) were faultless with a light off shore wind that lasted through until 11.00AM.
Weather wise today it was just as good as the waves we had. Blue sky and sunshine, and right now @ 12.00noon the outside temperature is sitting on 28 degree’s Celsius. Humidity on 66% with the wind now coming out of the SE @ 10-12knot.
Today’s G-Land Surf Report thanks to the good folk from the G-Land Surf Camp was calling head to well over head and the odd bigger set wave. With a little more southerly direction in the swell today there were waves peeling off from Kongs right down to Speedies.

Traffic Up Date; Well the silly season (high season) is already apon us here in Bali. With a combination of international and domestic school holidays the traffic in and out of the Kuta to Seminyak area is total kaos. Starting from around 2.00PM and running through until 9.00PM. I went into town the other night and even riding my motor cycle the traffic was insane.
For any of you that just want nothing more than a hassle free, get up and go surf perfect waves every morning, see and do what the hotel / resort sect don’t. Well we have some new surfing / accommodation packages that will have you at the right location at the right time everyday. All deals include your own photographer at no extra cost.
