****AFTERNOON SURF UP DATE****
Howdy folks and welcome to the weekend on baliwaves.com (since ’99) for the latest and greatest news from here on the only place to spend your hard earned tropical surfing holiday, Bali.
Well it was a bit frustrating today with the mornings surf check on the Outer Reefs still almost macking out like yesterday. At 6.00AM wave height between Kuta Reef and Airport Left was still a very solid 4-6ft+. Wind direction was also a big let down, spinning around to all points of the compass before finally settling into the West. No sign of the sun through out the morning but now at 4.30PM she’s finally made an appearance. Have I mentioned the rain, oh yeah it was raining off and on most of the morning as well. But even though battling through it all I still managed to snag a few (very) low light photos for ya’s.
The wind did finally swing back to the SE around 3.00PM.
Tomorrows another day and we’ll be doing our best to find some more Bali waves so make sure you stay true to the original Bali surf report.
Today’s Tidal information had us scheduled in for a 2.5mtr High @ 10.00AM and then bottoming out to a 0.1mtr reef exposing Low @ 4.00PM.
Weather wise it was pretty crappy through the morning with light variable winds all over the shop and quite a few drops of rain. But right now the outside temperature is a balmy 30 degree’s Celsius.

Here’s some weird news, right this very moment there would be lucky to be a whole 2 surfers in the entire National Park of G-Land. Yes that’s right 2 surfers in the whole darn area. So if you want to have a once in a life time chance of an empty line up make sure you call into the G-Land Surf Camp and get over there pronto.

Well we have some new surfing / accommodation packages that will have you at the right location at the right time everyday. All deals include your own photographer at no extra cost. Hi slim ,just wondering if you could help me out? back in 1981 i lost seratus rupiah from my boardshorts pocket it was for the bloke who paddled me out in his canoe,it was a freshly minted shiny coin, anyway i was looking at the pictures from 21/04/12 saturday session at kuta reef and in the last shot from that session i am sure the bloke in the picture has spotted it and is heading for it. could you please tell him to find the bloke [wayan] and give it to him as i never got round to it and it is rightfully his. thanks.
